Did Yeshua come to fulfill the law, or abolish it? Read Matthew 5:17-37

Yeshua came to change and modify God’s laws.

Yeshua fulfilled the Law with his sacrifice, and properly interpreted the law by having us follow His ways from the heart and not just outward actions.

Yeshua came to abolish the law and start a new religion.

If Yeshua fulfilled the law, does that mean our actions make a difference in our salvation?

Our actions don’t earn our salvation, only by God's Grace through faith. But they can be a indicator of our belief and heart for God.

Yeshua weighs our good deeds against our bad deeds to determine salvation.

If you’re a good enough person God will cover you by His grace.

Read Romans 8:1-4. What was the purpose of the Torah?

To correct everyone around us and show them their faults.

The scriptures reveal God’s standard, our need for atonement, and God’s plan to heal and save us through His Messiah.

To help show that we're better than everyone else.
